Self Help honors Medic 20, house director Cooper

Self Help Movement last week held its annual reception at Knowlton Mansion.

The Commitment to Recovery Award winner was John Cooper, Self Help’s director of house supervision and project director of Stepdown.

The Humanitarian Award recipients were the emergency first responders of Medic Unit 20, at Academy and Comly roads.

Proceeds will support the education, advocacy and recovery services of Self Help, an alcohol and drug treatment center at 2600 Southampton Road.
